After almost three years of trying, the wife and I had our first positive pregnancy test on Friday. Blood test this morning confirmed it: I am going to be an OppoSit-Pop!!!!

When you tell your parents/in-laws, just don’t do what I did. I told them “I forgot we were trying!”, and now MrsZtp won’t let me live it down. Women never forget, lol.

Of course they do, because you’d have to have a special baby seat to fit in the back of a 911.
We live in West Michigan, where we average 120 inches of snow a year. If I’m looking for a replacement for my Jetta, I’m thinking AWD wagon (A3/A4 maybe).

Congratulations! After trying for awhile, my wife has her first appointment at the end of the month for an ultrasound. She’s been tired, cranky, and super hormonal, but I wouldn’t trade her for anyone else in the world. :)
Sounds like we’ll be going through things at around the same time, so best of luck.
Also, where are you in West Michigan? We can have a have a stroller meet up if you’re close to Grand Rapids!

That’s crazy! We live in Heritage Hill. Wife works downtown (Spectrum) and I work out in the Cascade area. Our appointment is on the the 26th!
